Savannah May Poor grew up in Odessa Texas where she discovered her love for theater while attending Ector junior high school. Her first role was an ensemble member in the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie, and the rest is history! She went onto pursue two Associates in Music and Theatre performance at Odessa College.
She’s currently pursuing a BFA in Musical theatre at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas, where she currently resides.
While attending West Texas A&M she was extremely fortunate to be accepted into the International Performing Arts Institute (IPAI). She took part in The IPAI Global Artist Program (2020) and Participated in IPAI Fairhope, Alabama (2021) Where she won second place in the Musical Theatre category for the Voices of Summer vocal competition.
Some of her favorite roles include Rusty in Footloose, The Ghost in Monstersongs, Zelda in Gianni Schicci, and The Nurse in Romeo and Juliet.
